As I look at this panel of cards at the end of the week, the Hanged Man seems to me to be much more vivid, more glowy, than the others. Not that I feel hung out to dry exactly, but I do feel suspended between conflicting facets of my life. Like I’m holding my breath, waiting for something to happen from outside to help me turn my life right side up and get back on a path with some direction to it. At the same time, I know the real inspiration to find my way back to that path is in my own head, just like that seemingly incongruent halo on an awkwardly positioned upside down man.

last week seemed like the IV of pentacles card to me! it felt like this because i was on vacation visiting family, so i felt that we were sharing of our lives when we met up. so i feel like at times i was the person standing and at times was one of the people on the ground, receiving whatever the standing person is handing out. the pentacles make me think of family too because it is grounding and stabilizing (earth facets combined with #6) to see them.
